Survey Technical Manager – Cork

We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Survey Technical Manager to join the team based in our Cork office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for taking a leading role in the QA of all our projects, the training and professional development of our diverse teams, and ensuring that our clients feel certain about the wide range of deliverables they are receiving from us.

This role would suit an individual already in a similar role, or a geospatial surveyor with a broad range of survey technical experience and with a passion for our industry.

You will be expected to support teams working with the latest survey equipment and software on con-struction sites setting out and survey, control and as-built, major roads projects, locating underground utilities, hydrographic/bathymetric surveys, inspections, topographic, measured building, laser scan-ning and UAV.

The right person for the job will be passionate about geospatial surveying, up-to-date with latest indus-try developments, and excited about being involved in a diverse range of survey projects.

Requirements

  • Geomatics related education essential, as is experience working in a variety of different survey disciplines
  • 5 years post graduate experience working on surveying related projects
  • Project management experience and experience in staff supervising desirable
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Action orientated, and results focused – comfortable working in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively
  • Proficient in various technical surveying related software
  • Fluent/highly proficient in spoken and written English
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Excellent attention to detail

Location: Airport East Business & Technology Park, Farmers Cross, Co. Cork

Working hours: Full-time, 8.00 to 5.30, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent
