Supporting Stronger Standards at the Survey Ireland Conference 2019

The leading voices in the geospatial industry will come together on 8 May for Survey Ireland – the annual conference for geomatic surveyors.

We will be at Dunboyne Castle in Co. Meath to take part in the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) event, which has as its theme “stronger standards, stronger profession in geomatics”.

Dermot Guiney, Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Officer, Murphy Surveys will taking to the stage and speaking about our commitment to raising health and safety (H&S) standards in our industry by making H&S central to everything we do, to safeguard our staff, clients and the public. He’ll be discussing our health and safety management systems and latest innovation to support the safety of our teams with our new vehicle safety app.

Diarmuid Murphy, Head of Land and Property, will also be joining the team showcasing some of our latest developments and achievements – from becoming the first dedicated survey company in Ireland to achieve the prestigious BSI Kitemark™ for BIM Level 2 (Design and Construction) to our investment in the latest UAV real-time video link technology.

Diarmuid Murphy comments:

“As the largest geospatial survey company in Ireland, we recognise Survey Ireland as the leading opportunity for construction, land and property professionals to come together and tackle the big issues of the day. We’re excited to be back for another year and connect with our industry friends and colleagues. We’re also keen to talk to anyone interested in joining Murphy Surveys and we’ll be available at the event to talk more about our career opportunities
