MEASURED BUILD SURVEYS

Using the latest technologies including 3D laser scanners and reflectorless Total Stations linked to tablet PCs for real time data analysis, we bring the real-world building into the virtual environment of Computer Aided Design (CAD).

Floor plans, elevations and sections are the vital elements for architects, designers, developers and other property professionals for refurbishment re-design or fit-out. In many cases they are not available, in others they differ greatly from the actual structure.

From 2D floor plans, sections and elevations to rendered 3 dimensional models, we develop fully or partially controlled Measured Building Surveys to suit your unique requirements, budget and specifications in a quick and accurate way. In most cases the latest mobile equipments enable our surveyors to generate drawings on the field, reducing the processing time and therefore costs. Where a higher level of detail is required or when recording a complex object, a laser scanner is used. When a conventional survey proves impractical, then we can generate rectified photography, particularly for architectural conservation or archaelogical record.

All our surveys can be supplied in a variety of formats from traditional film or paper plots to a digital version in your preferred CAD or modelling package. Point cloud information from laser scanners can now be supplied quickly in TruView format giving you instant access to interrogate the raw data dimensionally.
