ELEVATED PHOTOGRAPHIC SURVEYS

What are Elevated Photographic Surveys?

Elevated Photographic Surveys allow capturing a property, site or land from a whole new perspective.

With the aid of a portable telescopic mast, the photography is taken from an elevated position with varying heights up to 50 feet (15m approx.) and 360° views.

Applications

The applications vary from timeline photography on large scale constructions to one-off shots for pre-planning or showcase purposes. They provide valuable information to present a project and, in conjunction with Topographic or Sub-Surface Surveys, offer a complete overview of the project.

Some applications include:

- Rectified Photography, used to record building facades where a conventional survey proves impractical, especially for architectural conservation and archaelogical sites
- Ortho-rectified Photography, which allows to obtain dimensions directly from a photograph that has been geometrically corrected like a map
- Ortho-Photo Mosaic, which is the combination of several Ortho-photos to provide an overall representation of multiple adjacent facades.
