Murphy Surveys: 3 Nominees at the Irish Construction Industry Awards 2016

Murphy Surveys are honoured to have been shortlisted for 3 entries to the Irish Construction Industry Awards 2016. This is truly a reflection of the hard work and expertise of our fantastic team here at Murphy Surveys and the company would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation for the dedication, drive and passion of all our skilled staff.

 

We have been shortlisted in two categories at the awards, BIM Initiative of the Year and Innovation in Construction.

 

For BIM Initiative of the Year, Alan Halpin, B.Eng Civil Eng., BIM manager, Stuart McCann,  BIM Technician | R&D and Alex Macovei, BIM Technician | R&D, have been shortlisted for their entry on Heritage Building Surveying & Information Modelling.

 

Barry O’Keefe, BSc. Associate Director and Manager at Murphy Surveys’ Cork Office, and James Buckley, BEng. Senior Tank Scanning Surveyor, have been nominated for their entry in the Innovation in Construction category on Tank Scanning.

 

Also nominated in this category are  Dr. Sonia Assunção, Geophysicist, and David Graham, MRICS MSCSI, Associate Director, initiated and Head of the Utility Department at Murphy Surveys. for the entry on Dublin City Centre Subsurface Utility Engineering.

 

It is an honour to get recognised by your industry peers and to have successfully been shortlisted for all three entries is something we are very proud of.

 

We recognise that each entry has been the result of a real team effort and we would like to recognise the entire Murphy Surveys team for their hard work in order to make opportunities like this a possibility.
