Murphy Surveys offer a wide variety of surveying services which include Land Surveying, Measured Build Surveys, GPS and Laser Scanning, Hydrographical and Ground Penetrating Radar to name but a few.

To cope with project demands the company is currently seeking a Measured Building Surveyor to join our growing team.

Requirements and Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced surveyors:

  • Diploma or bachelor degree in preferably Geomatics (with built environment experience) or Building Surveying (with geomatics experience).
  • Previous site experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong AutoCAD skills with previous processing experience – fully familiar with survey processing workflows (from site to CAD and prepping data for site too).
  • Familiarity with MBS data and preparation of NIA/GIA floor plans is highly desirable.

The successful candidate must also:

  • Have a keen interest and understanding of the built and rural environment with a desire to expand upon it is highly desirable.
  • High standard and quality of work.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Pro-active, problem solving and positive attitude.
  • Self-starting, creative and able to work on your own initiative.
  • Be client focused.
  • Hold a full and valid driving licence.

Location: Kilcullen Head Office & Dublin (if and when required)

Position: Full Time/Permanent
