Document Controller / Tender Manager

With offices currently in London, Kildare and Cork and plans for further expansion we are recruiting for Document Controller/Tender Manager in our Dublin 2 office.

Murphy Surveys offer a wide variety of surveying services which include Land Surveying, Measured Build Surveys, GPS and Laser Scanning, Hydrographical and Ground Penetrating Radar to name but a few.

Our company is seeking a full time Document Controller/Tender Manager with strong experience in the tendering process in both the Private and Public Sector.

Role will involve:

• Manage the tender qualification process for new opportunities in the public and private sectors from inception through to tender award and contract close.
• Build and lead winning bid team(s) – with passion to win.
• Manage the day to day affairs of the office and support wherever possible
• Responsible for developing and maintaining all Document Control issues arising on all projects and certification schemes (ISO9001, Achilles) and ensuring that such activities are carried out in a satisfactory and accurate manner
• Implementing and maintaining office systems and procedures
• Setting up new quotes and projects on the internal database
• Diary Management of quoting/tendering
• Responding to emails
• Producing documentation for Directors using Word, Excel
• Creating presentations for Directors using Powerpoint
• Communicate effectively and have good working relationships with all colleagues
• Managing and developing an efficient tendering process
• Preparing/Organising and Auditing of Murphy tender documentation
• Estimation of some survey projects.
• Dealing with basic client prospects
• Review and development of a CRM
• Any other ad hoc duties

Successful Candidates will have:

• Excellent Communication skills
• Skills that enable collaboration and communication be able to write both creatively and logically to produce quality and compelling bid documents with an eye for detail.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• The ability to prioritize tasks and be able to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously; and the ability to interface with all levels of management.
• Presentation & Organisational skills in relation to tender submissions.
• Be diligent and have the ability to put shape on existing procedures.
• You will be working in a fast moving environment that will need structure to get things done.
• Strong commercial acumen & numeracy skills.

Location – Dublin 2

Payment – €35-38K

Terms – Permanent, Full-time
