Cork Office Tag Rugby League

Meet the Green Goblins, the Murphy Surveys’ Cork tag rugby team who took part in their final game of the Summer league this past Friday the 15th in Highfield RFC, Model Farm Road, Cork. While the team did not land on top, they did come 5th in their division!

The league consisted of an initial grading phase followed by a 7 week league which saw the Green Goblins placed in division 2. Those who took part commented that Cork Tag Rugby has been a fantastic opportunity to bring staff from across different departments together and hope to take part in the Autumn league later this year.

Our Cork team are not the only ones getting out and active, our Kilcullen Office will be hosting the annual Cycle for Crumlin this coming Saturday, July 23rd. Set to feature cyclists of all levels, the non-competitive cycle consists of a 50 km and 100 km route and will be followed with some tasty refreshments from Briqo Catering at the company’s head office courtesy of Murphy Surveys.

All funds raised from the cycle will go to support the work of CMRF, the charity for Our Lady’s Hospital, Crumlin who are celebrating their 60th anniversary this year. If you are interested in taking part in the cycle, you can still register online or get in touch with our own Caitriona at 045 484 040 or chanly@murphysurveys.ie for more information.
