Client Testimonials

“Murphy Surveys were employed to carry out a full external, internal and cross section survey of Arnotts and adjoining buildings. They had to work to extremely tight timescales during busy on-site conditions and successfully delivered this project to the highest standard and met the deadlines specified. We were particularly impressed with Murphy Surveys careful pre-planning, ongoing management and clear and constant communication with all parties involved.”

“Murphy Surveys has been successfully providing surveys to Bord Gais for more than 20 years. Safety is hugely important to us, and we value that they have such comprehensive systems in place in this regard. They also use the latest technological equipment to collect data non-intrusively, which minimises or eliminates any disruption and risk; this is particularly important to us in the detection of underground utilities. The data is delivered very promptly, and its quality is consistently high.””

Brian Walsh, Senior Engineer, Bord Gais

“Murphy Surveys were commissioned to carry out an assignable area survey of 2 Grand Canal Square. The building was partially occupied when the survey was carried out. The survey was very well managed without disruption to tenants. The survey was completed on time and we were very impressed with the professional approach and follow up. We would be pleased to consider Murphy Surveys for similar work in the future.”

Declan Curtin, Project Director, Chartered Land

“We are very pleased with the drawings. For conservation recording the features have been surveyed in detail and drawn with clarity. It was particularly useful to have photographs beside the drawings of some of the details. The suite of drawings is very comprehensive and well presented. We appreciate the effort that went into them.”

Anne Fletcher, Coady Partnership Architects

“I used Murphy Surveys to map a recent farm purchase (77 acres) in advance of closing the transaction in November 2014. My previous experience was that land purchases frequently threw up issues in subsequent years. Their resolution typically cost both time and legal fees and that was where resolutions were amicable!

The Murphy survey (carried out in the field, digitally, as opposed to in an office) identified a number of anomalies which needed to be resolved, including where the right of way was on the map (as opposed to its physical location). While the difference may appear small to the casual observer, in reality, it could become an issue at any stage through the generations. I believe all parties (seller, buyer and other stakeholders on the roadway) are better off for having had the work carried out. Post mapping, there is a greater level of certainty over where the boundaries exist.

Irish Rail

“Irish Rail embarked on an ambitious project that required a highly detailed survey of all 3,600km of operational and disused railway lines nationwide. We requested delivery of the data in the format of a bespoke Geographic Information System (GIS). Murphy Surveys completed this work to excellent standards from start to finish. Using a helicopter and LIDAR technology, they captured all the data quickly and accurately, and they delivered on time in a GIS that surpassed our expectations. We look forward to working with them again.”

Cathal Bowe, Senior Engineer, Irish Rail

“RPA commissioned Murphy Surveys Ltd to complete a comprehensive building movement, and vibration monitoring contract for the Metro North/Mater Stop Box Project.

The contract included the installation of sophisticated ground movement and vibration monitoring systems in the adjacent Mater Private and Mater Adult hospitals, which bordered the East and West of the Mater Stop Box Site. The systems were designed, installed and commissioned by Murphy Surveys.

The contract was successfully completed in 2012 and was carried out professionally and efficiently by Murphy Surveys Ltd.

Aidan Foley, Contracts Manager, RPA

“Murphy Surveys Ltd have undertaken three major CFRAMS survey contracts for us, various infill survey contracts and completed defence surveys on our behalf. I wouldn’t have be happy unless Murphy Surveys Ltd were undertaking this work as I know the levels of planning from there management team always insure the projects run smoothly no matter how big or small. Furthermore to that, the survey crews on the ground collecting the data are second to none, they are not only extremely well trained, but knowledgeable as well, which gives us confidence in the survey data we receive.”
