Geophysicist

Geophysicist Required for our Kildare Office in Ireland.

With offices in London, Kildare, Belfast and Cork and plans for further expansion we are recruiting a Junior Geophysicist to work in our Geophysical Division. At present we have a staff of over 65 people and our continual growth over the last 25 years has been attributed to our client centred consultancy, technologically innovative products and our progressive approach. As a result, we are now recognised as being at the forefront of the surveying industry and are widely regarded as one of the most dynamic, experienced, professional, innovative, and technically proficient surveying companies in Ireland and the UK today.

Murphy Surveys offer a wide variety of surveying services which include Land Surveying, Measured Build Surveys, GPS and Laser Scanning, Hydrographic and Geophysical surveys to name but a few:

Successful Candidates will:

• Have over 3 years experience in the area of Ground Penetrating Radar.

• Be able to work on their own initiative and to develop new applications and projects as well as working within an existing team.

• Be familiar with field survey design and data acquisition using Ground Penetrating Radar,

• Be capable of processing geophysical data acquired using the above methods.

• Have excellent report writing and communications skills.

• Have a working knowledge of the engineering, surveying and SUE industries.

• Be willing to travel and carry out field work in Ireland as required.

Measured Build Surveyor

Measured Build Surveyor required for our London Office, England
The successful candidate have extensive Measured Building Survey experience and will prepare detailed design and construction drawings with the use of computer-aided design software, such as AutoCAD

Network Support Assistant
We are seeking a Network Support Assistant with experience of the following systems:

• VMWare ESX
  
• Windows Server Operating systems and Active Directory
  
• Microsoft Exchange 2007
  
• Experience in Web authoring through CMS and HTML
  
• Experience with PHP would be of advantage.
  

Experience required: 1-5 years We are looking for someone for 3 days per week. This may suit someone who has recently taken early retirement and is looking to get back in to the workplace on a part time basis
