Job Purpose

This role will provide support to the head of the survey and engineering department with tendering for projects, the updating and coordination of tendering documentation, issuing of quotations, following up of quotations submitted and liaise with the marketing department.

Key Accountabilities

  • The maintenance and coordination of tendering documentation to facilitate the efficient preparation of tender submissions. This will require the competency in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project and in-house management system.
  • Issuing of quotations. This will require training in the use of the in-house management system to generate the quotation documents. The use of Google Earth Pro and MS Excel in the generate the metrics for the quotations. A basic knowledge of surveying practices will be essential in this role.
  • Coordination with other departments when handling multi-discipline/department tenders (ie. Utility/GPR, Laser scanning, UAV, Legal mapping and Hydrographic departments.
  • Maintenance of quotations and tenders in our in-house management system and the following up of tenders and quotations which have not been awarded in order to maintain the validity of management system metrics.
  • The post-delivery client satisfaction reviews as part of ISO procedures.
  • Managing the marketing materials (case studies) and liaison with the marketing department

Requirements

  • 3rd Level Degree required in surveying/quantity surveying or civil engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in surveying related or construction related business
  • Experience in coordinating and handling documentation in an ISO environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills both internally and with clients
  • Analytical skills
  • Discretion and a high level of integrity and trust required with confidential information

Salary – Salary will depend on experience and skill base.
